Education:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering /Surveying from a recognised University; higher degree would be advantageous
- Membership to a recognised professional engineering association (or institution) is preferable
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 12 years experience as Civil/Surveying Engineer in Oil & Gas major projects with Oil & Gas Company or Consultant/Contractor
- Candidate should have worked for a minimum of 5 years in the position of Senior Civil/Surveying Engineer
- Experienced in precise positioning, data acquisition techniques and processing different types of surveys for onshore and offshore environment (onshore/offshore pipelines routing, geographical, bathymetry, hydrographical, geophysics surveys for sea bed, water movement, waves, subsoil and Subsea obstruction surveys, soil surveys, etc.)
- Fully familiar with the most updated surveying technology (satellite, sonar, echo sounders, etc.) and software
- Experienced in management of all project related survey works, following up with contractors/vendors
- Experienced in reviewing design drawings/documents and contractor deliverables in accordance with specifications and applicable standards
- Experienced in FEED & Detail engineering development and EPIC Contract execution of surveying works in the Oil & Gas Production/Processing facilities
- Effective communication skills and presentation ability
